About me

I want to make art that fights back.

In this pursuit, a large part of my life and my art has been devoted to teaching, humanitarianism, environmental sustainability, and laughter. These four pillars support me in creating work that lives and breathes how I was taught to live and breathe; as an advocate and an ally for the planet and for one another.

I have worked as an arts and English teacher with special needs communities, adult learners, and high school students to teach the most vulnerable members of our society how to express themselves, so they might be better equipped to tell their stories.

I helped devise Grains of Hope, a verbatim docudrama, with refugee populations from around the world to give voice to their stories of loss and triumph.
